Procrastinator Babes

This is an online-only (for now) social group for women* to support other women to finally cross stuff off of their bucket list. Many of us have made way too many excuses for not accomplishing the things we have always wanted to get done in our lives. I'm not a therapist or anything, but I call it "procrastinator babe" syndrome - you spend a solid chunk of your life preoccupied with what other's think of you (men, other women, you name it) and don't stick to goals, don't write that novel, don't lose those pounds because... maybe you're afraid you'll fail. Maybe you worry you'll be rejected. We all have different things that hold us back. Then, when you finally realize that their opinions don't mean as much as you thought they did, you realize that you have procrastinated half of your life away.
If any of this rings true to you, join this group! Let's encourage each other to get those things done that we've always wanted to do. Let's help each other get over our fears.
This is a judgment-free zone and a safe space.
Until co-organizers feel like stepping up to help out, there will be two types of meetings on rotation:
1. Bucket List Meetings - We'll start with quick introductions and go around the circle to remind everyone what our top 3 bucket list goals we are going to focus on over the next six months is. What are you doing to actively work toward those goals? What has worked or hasn't worked? What steps will you commit to doing to move forward? Constructive, gentle and helpful criticism/advice only. We'll close the meeting with a quick chat and positive affirmations.
2. Book Club - This is where we read and review self-empowerment, transformation and self-help books.
*This group is inclusive of women and those who are trans or identify as gender-queer.
