Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes! California Communications Access Foundation (CCAF) and its philanthropic arm, Ability Central, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, EIN 61-1411655. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Is my online transaction secure?

Yes! Ability Central donation platforms have HTTPS encryption, so all your data is kept private and secure.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes! We will provide a receipt for your donation to Ability Central that you can use for tax purposes. If you give online, an electronic receipt will be sent to the email address you provided. Donations of $250 or more will also receive a receipt and acknowledgment by mail. We process payments through GiveLively. If you need a new receipt generated, you can log in to your user account there to view past transactions and download receipts. For questions about creating and logging in to your GiveLively donor profile, visit the GiveLively Support Center.

Can I donate stock?

Yes! Gifting stock may provide additional tax benefits to you as the donor. Contact us at Giving@AbilityCentral.org with any questions about donating stock, shares, or mutual funds.

Can I use workplace giving to match my donation?

Yes! If your employer matches employee donations to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations, then Ability Central should qualify. Each workplace manages its program differently, but many will make a 100% match for your charitable contributions, doubling the value of the gift you make. And your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
