BECOMING A PUPPY RAISER
-We offer orientation sessions for people interested in hosting a breeding dog who would like to find out more about this volunteer opportunity. The sessions are held virtually on the third Wednesday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m. If you are interested in exploring the world of becoming a breeding host, join us for an upcoming session! These informational sessions are a great way to get all your questions answered by the team who supports this volunteer role.

Virtual Parent Support Group
-APH FamilyConnect and The Chicago Lighthouse are pleased to offer this virtual support group for parents and families of children who are blind or visually impaired. These monthly sessions are for families to connect with and learn from each other about the joys, challenges, and adventures of raising children with visual impairments and blindness. These sessions are open to families. No ACVREP or professional development credits will not be available.

CALL-IN INSTRUCTIONS: After you RSVP for any/all programs that you’d like to participate in, here’s how to call into each of the programs – we will use the same call-in number for all programs: To join any of the programs, dial 872-242-7995. It will then ask for you to enter the Conference ID: 737 107 407 followed by #. You will then be admitted into the program.
Join us for fun and energetic chair exercise classes focusing on increasing your strength and supporting your mobility. Whether you’re an avid exerciser or a bit of a couch potato, all levels are welcome. Let’s stay active together. Before participating, please make sure you have a stable and sturdy chair with you for exercising.
